Dr. Trent V. Murphy, D.V.M
Veterinary
medicine has always been a large part of Dr. Murphy’s life. From the
time he was a small child, he spent many hours working with his
father, Dr. Vance Murphy, D.V.M at Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic.
However, once he graduated from Texas A&M with his degree in
veterinary medicine, Dr. Murphy had the opportunity to work along
side his father as a colleague. Dr. Murphy brings with him ten years
of experience from various Houston area small animal practices.
Dr. Murphy and his
wife Trish, who owns and operates the Bayside Bed and Biscuit next
door, live in Clear Lake Shores with their son, Ben and soon a new
little princess. They have a
yellow lab,
Tank
and
Iggy
the Iguana
.
Dr. Murphy
enjoys martial arts; in fact he is a second degree black belt in
Tae-Kwon-Do. He’s an avid wind surfer, bicyclist, and spends his
down time practicing with kettle bells.

Cooter Brown
He’s big,
He’s brown, He’s laid back….He’s Cooter Brown, aka Dr. Shepherd’s
dog. You can usually see him following Dr. Shepherd’s every footstep
or up front getting a nice rump scratch. Cooter’s been a faithful
friend of Dr. Shepherd for nearly eight years, and a professional
Supervisor at Bayside for a few years now. Oh, but don’t plan on
catching a glimpse of him on Thursdays and Fridays, those are his
days off!
