You can help provide a free spay or neuter to League City Animal Shelter
We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with League City Animal Shelter to provide free spays and neuters to their animals in foster care.
Thousands of abandoned, lost, or homeless animals enter shelters every year. The fate of these animals is not only heartbreaking – it’s entirely preventable via spaying or neutering. Pet overpopulation is a bona fide threat to the safety and sustainability of our community, but it doesn’t have to be. Together we can make a difference. Anytime Bayside Animal Hospital spays or neuters a pet, $25.00 will be donated to the League City Animal Shelter Spay/Neuter Fund. This fund provides free spays or neuters to the animals that are in the shelter’s foster program.

Research also shows a correlation between keeping your pet lean and lifespan. In fact, a study conducted by Purina found that the lives of leaner pets can be longer by up to 15 percent. At Bayside Animal Hospital, we were so impressed with this result that we knew we had to delve deeper into the importance of pet nutrition.

Your pet can very well participate in your family’s holiday shenanigans, and may even be the star of the show. However, without a notice of holiday pet safety, there are multiple things that could land them in trouble.
We live in an area prone to hurricanes and natural disasters. Because pets are part of our family, we have the added responsibility of ensuring our pets are equally prepared for a natural disaster. No matter what the weather report says this week, it’s always a good idea to have a spare bag packed with food, water, and backup medication for your fur babies.
Hurricanes and other frightening experiences such as fires, floods, and tornadoes demand preparation and an acknowledgement of the possibility of the worst possible scenario. With our suggestions for pet preparedness, you can take control and effectively face the unpredictable. Continue…
