We strive to offer owners and pets the premium services they deserve including progressive wellness plans and laser therapy.

Read below for information that will help you maximize your visit to Bayside Animal Hospital.

Appointments and Drop-Offs

Pets are seen primarily through appointments but walk-ins may be accommodated as time allows. Appointments are seen Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 5:0 0p.m., and Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

All veterinary services must be scheduled in advance with just a few exceptions. The following services can be arranged the day of, but we recommend calling a few hours prior to your arrival:

  • Update of the Bordetella vaccine
  • Update of the Canine Influenza vaccine
  • Laser therapy sessions, purchased in advance

We offer a pet drop-off service for occasions when time is not on your side. If you have an appointment schedule that’s conflicting with your busy schedule, make a reservation in advance to drop your pet off on the day of the appointment between 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Please allow 15–20 minutes of time to drop off your pet so that we can discuss symptoms, current health and lifestyle, and treatments. You will also need to sign paperwork, including budget consent options and emergency contact information.

Your pet will relax in a large 4’x8’ run before and after their appointment and veterinary nurses will keep in touch with you throughout the day. Unless the option of “treat as necessary” was selected on our budget consent form, Bayside will wait until we receive your verbal consent to treat your pet.

New Clients

Bayside Animal Hospital would love to welcome you to the team. We ask all new clients to schedule their first appointment ahead of time and in-person. Since we have in-depth discussions about pets with all our new clients, we don’t feel drop-offs are the best start to our partnership with you.

After you schedule an appointment, please fill out our New Client Form to bring to your first appointment. For the best possible outcome of your first appointment, bring your pet’s previous medical records and a fresh stool sample for testing.

Arrival Poilcy

We ask that all pets entering or exiting Bayside Animal Hospital be leashed or in a carrier. If you use a retractable leash, please keep its length moderately short while in the clinic’s public spaces to respect the space of the other clients and pets. It is important to remember that not all animals are friendly with strangers so please remind your children to ask permission before touching another client’s pet.

Payment Policies

Bayside Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing the best veterinary service for fair and reasonable prices. We encourage pet owners to discuss charges before services are rendered. We base our fees on multiple elements of your appointment, such as the diagnostic testing, the procedures performed, and the medication used. Payment is due at the time that services are rendered. We accept all Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards, cash, checks and money orders. In the event that a pet needs to be hospitalized, we request a deposit at the time of admittance.

Bayside Animal Hospital does not offer payment plans but we work with an outside financing company called CareCredit. Many clients have found CareCredit to be a flexible and affordable method of ensuring their pet gets premium veterinary care.

Pet Wellness Report

Clients may fill out a Pet Wellness Report prior to their annual visits. The Pet Wellness Report is accessed by visiting where the you will be directed to fill out a form prior to your appointment. The form is then sent to our receptionist via email.
