In-Patient Services for Sensitive Pets
Clients of Bayside Animal Hospital enjoy the option of utilizing our medical boarding services. In-patient care is available for our medically vulnerable patients including, surgical patients, senior pets, or sick or injured pets that require diligent monitoring. Medical boarding patients will have attentive care and timely treatments administered by our staff. Our facility is serene, quiet, and perfect for sensitive patients that are prone to stress or anxiety.
For the safety of all our guests, all core vaccinations are required. For canines this includes Rabies, DHLP, Parvo, Bordetella and Canine Influenza. Felines are required to be current on Rabies, FVRCPC and Feline Leukemia vaccinations.
If you are about to drop off your pet and realize that he or she needs these vaccines, Bayside Animal Hospital can update those vaccinations without an appointment. But please be aware we strongly recommend vaccines be given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding, and that a new series be given 4 weeks prior to boarding. Additionally, if your pet is boarding with us and they need to renew prescriptions or medical attention, Bayside Animal Hospital will work to accommodate you.
Our visiting hours for patients who are boarding or hospitalized are between 9:00AM—5:30PM.
If your pet is not in need of medical boarding, we invite you to explore Bayside Bed and Biscuit for pet daycare and boarding services. Although each business utilizes separate staffing, Bayside Animal Hospital maintains a close working relationship with the Bed and Biscuit. You do not have to be a client of Bayside Animal Hospital to use any of the Bed and Biscuit services, but owners of patients at our clinic stay at the boarding facility with the reassuring knowledge that their regular veterinarian is working next door.
