Get the Complete Picture with Digital Radiography
At Bayside Animal Hospital, our exams dive deeper than the physical and visual assessments. Advanced tools help inform all our diagnoses and that includes digital radiography. Digital radiology is one our most important diagnostic tools. It’s faster and provides a clearer, more enhanced image than traditional x-ray images.
Used in conjunction with our other diagnostic capabilities, such as ultrasound, we’re better able to provide a thorough and comprehensive evaluation. The more expeditious and accurate your pet’s diagnosis, the sooner we can begin treatment or mitigate future complications. Digital radiology is also a safe tool for all pets because it is noninvasive and emits less radiation. We most frequently utilize digital radiography to assess for conditions affecting the:
- Cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary system
- Respiratory system
- Gastrointestinal and digestive system
- Reproductive system
- Urinary system
- Musculo-skeletal system
Digital Dental Radiography
Bayside Animal Hospital also utilizes digital dental radiography to offer increased accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing the health of your dog or cat’s dental health.

Seeing Ben, even though he's an old boy at 12 years old, can't wait to go in when we get there makes it evident he has no fear of visiting and knows he's going to have a positive experinece. I can't recommend them highly enough. — Richard Grimes
